Following is a picture of the puppies from the "Þ" litter and their owners taken on practice of the Icelandic Dobermann club, Dobermann Iceland.  Four out of five of the puppies that remained in Iceland went to a puppy course at the dog school Hundalif and did really well.  All of them have already continued to work with their owners.  

Puki has finished a course in obedience for young dogs at the dog school Gallery Voff and earned the wanted gold medallion for good results, Gutti is currently in advanced obedience course at the dog school Hundalif and Kalli has just finished an obedience course with the Norwegian trainer Tone Olsen held by Hundalif.  The sisters Thra and Assa are also doing some work and they go to training session with Dobermann Iceland and are waiting for a spot in obedience courses.  We are so happy for how well these puppies are taken care of and how loving their owners are.

Thor and Thula are doing well in Serbia and they went to the IDC in Desio and Thula did very well and got VP, Thor did not do as well as Thula but still got SG.  They have started to do their training and are doing very well.

Nikos is expected to arrive in Iceland in the beginning of December and we are very exited about his arrival.  We hope that everything will go well and that he will have a nice trip and a good stay in quarantine.

Paradise is in preparation for IPO II and IPO III, we hope that she will have good results.  Her trainer Sylvia has been doing very good work with her and we think they are a great team, so hopefully everything will go as expected.

Karen went to Denmark a few days ago and purchased a new male
that will arrive to Iceland before years end.

Last Nikos di Altobello "Nikos" is 9 months old and we were so
fortunate to be able to buy him.  Nikos is from the combination
of the multi champions Ferrofarah Gomez di Campovalano and
Wild Cherry di Altobello and his pedigree is therefore very interesting
and he will be a good addition to our dogs here at Aegishjalms Kennel, but
we will put his pedigree on the web in the next days.

We plan on doing some work with him in both obedience and track as in taking
him to shows held by the Icelandic Kennel Club HRFI.  Also we hope that he can
take ZTP since both his parents have with very good results.  There are some
pictures of this handsome young male in our gallery and it will be fun to se
in the future how he will develop.

There are some more news coming up in the next days since it hasn't been going
so well to update the site.

Paradise di Altobello "Lisa" has now finished both IPO 1 and ZTP and with that achivement she has confirmed her Bosnian title "BICH"

We went to Serbia on the  14th of September to attend the ZTP and take a look at our girl Lisa.

Judge was Rudi Killmaier from Germany and the test was held in Novi Sad.
We've got plenty of new pictures of Lisa and also our puppies Thor and Thula that seem do be doing very well and are growing into fine dogs.

The pictures will be loaded up in the gallery in the next few days and by then we will also have some more news of the Aegishjalms dogs.

 All the puppies from the "Þ" litter have been placed in wonderful homes and
we wish to congratulate their new owners with the newest member of the family.

Thor and Thula went to Serbia 11 weeks old to spend the next two years going to
Shows and prepare for IPO and ZTP.  Everything is going really well and they seem
to be doing just great.  Here at home we have been so fortunate to be able to build
a good relationship with the new owners and meet a few times and have a good time.
We have put some new photos in the gallery and more will be there in a few days time.

In the next couple of days we will ad some more news and we are working on web pages for
the puppies and the urls will be available as soon as they are up and running

Paradise di Altobello is just over 1 year old female that we own in Serbia.  Paradise or Lisa as she is called will stay in Serbia until the year 2008-2009 and is under preperation for IPO 1 that is planned for upcoming june and ZTP that she will take part in september this year.

 In may she became a candidate for both Serbian and Bosnian Champion.  So if everything goes acording to plan she will become both Serbian and Bosnian Champion this summer.

 We have high hopes for this young female in the future and are really happy with the newest member of the Aegishjalms family.

On week 7 Mr. Albert Steingrimsson dog trainer and approved mental test judge came for a visit and took the Volhard test on the puppies.  We can gladly tell you that all the puppies had a very fine result and we are very proud of that.

On the day that they became 8 weeks old we took the puppies for their first vaccination, ID marking and health examination at the animal hospital in Vididalur Reykjavik.  All of them are in good health and they were very calm and did very well at this first trip to the wet.

Today they became 9 weeks old and are doing very well.  The last few days of the Easter holiday the ones that have already got new owners have been going for visits to their new homes and everything has been going they way we hoped it would.  The new owners are looking forward to being able to take them home for good and that will be just after Easter.

There are new photos in the gallery of the puppies, they became 6 weeks old the 17th of March.                                     

They are all doing well and are becoming quite the joy to watch.

With pride we anounce that on the 3rd of February 2007 seven puppies were born, 3 females and 4 males from the International Champions Fanta di Altobello "Lina” and Rainbow di Altobello "Max"

This litter is with out a doubt one of the most ambitious litters to be born in Iceland.  The parents are imported from the Altobello kennel in Serbia in June 2005.

When they arrived to the country they had both finished BH and IPO 1 and Fanta had already become Bosnian Champion "BIHCH" and Rainbow Serbian Champion "SCGCH".  Also they were HD free, Eyes clear and vWd clear.  Fanta has also been Thyroid tested and is normal.

Since they arrived they've been doing great in the show ring and have both become Icelandic "ISCH" and International Champions "INTUCH".  They've also finished the "MH" mental test at the Icelandic kennel club "HRFI" with good results and been to numerous classes in obedience and tracking.

This litter fulfills all the demands that are set for the breed at the Icelandic Kennel Club "HRFI"   Both parents have shown that they are worthy representatives of the breed with great temperament and working ability.
